This ‘how to’ was well written except for the mixture in types of measurements. However, this was easily fixed by switching back and forth between the measurement converter online. The frosting recipe was very delicious and I think I will use it from now on, since the one I was trying to make on my own wasn’t turning out as well.
Making a carrot cake really made me miss London even more because a good friend made me carrot cake multiple times. And she was just one of two good friends that loved to cook for all of us. I was so spoiled there.
PS - I was unable to try the cake as it is still too warm to ice and its now nearly midnight and I need sleep.

Mmmm .. that sounds yummy. Kudos on keeping track with all your conversions. More than one or two mixes me up!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not so sure I did a great job converting. I rounded them up or down, so my cake ended up more like a carrot bread than cake. It is super dense. :)
