This how to gave 7 ways to make “how to make a hospital corner” seem more complicated than it is. The person who wrote this was one of those people that just doesn’t know how to keep things simple. I had to re-read the directions a few times just to realize what they really meant. Had I not actually done the how-to, I would have just chaulked it up to my own stupidity and inability to follow directions, but this was just not the case.
In reality this took about 5 steps, and that is if I included the obvious details like “put a sheet on the bed”. C’mon, I mean, we aren’t 3 year olds that are hopped up on the magical red skittles for a pleasurable 5 hrs of crazy bliss, now, are we? I think we know that if we are going to be putting hospital corners on a bed, we would need to put a sheet on the bed.
My suggestion for the directions are:
1. Tuck flat sheet in at bottom of mattress
2. Lift up long side's sheet.
3. Fold excess flat sheet from the end section under long side of mattress
3. Crease long side's fold
4. Tuck long side under long side of mattress.
TA DAH!
There, I did it in 4.
